Evening at the Il Campo

The lazy buzz of evening conversations.  The pattering of cutlery in late-night cafes.  Our backs warm against the cooling bricks of the bowl shaped square.  A sweet breeze.  The sprinkling of stars.  What a beautiful August night in Tuscany.  It just makes me want to dance.

Tonight, we are Civettas!

We are feasting with the Civetta (Owl) contrada tonight.  The tables are set in backstreets of the old district and for a few hours, we will celebrate with the winning tribe of this year's August Palio.  HOW COOL IS THAT?!
